My wonderful friends;
My sweet Chuck is home and doing well!! It turns out that the problems he has endured with this very dangerous illness had absolutely nothing to do with his emphysema! He contracted a 'super bug' variation of pneumonia that is so bad it is literally killing perfectly healthy people! So please, my friends, be careful! I talked to one lady at the pharmacy when I was picking up Chucks perscriptions to bring him home, who said the same 'bug' had already put 3 of her family members into the hospital.
Thank you so very much for all the wonderful well-wishes and beautiful comments you have left. I read everyone of them to Chuck and you have brought tears to his eyes, as well as to mine!
Please continue to be patient with me as my Chuck needs a great deal of tender loving care and attention at this time, so I will have to delete some comments, journals and deviations in order to come close to catching up. Again, thank you all so very much!!

My Friends;
First I would like to apologize for my absence. My beloved Chuck nearly lost his life due to a very severe breathing difficulty. I had to call '911' on Sunday night about midnight because he was having great difficulty breathing. He was taken to the local hospital by ambulance. From there they flew him to Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix by via helicopter. He was on a respirator, (life support) for 4 days and didn't regain consciousness until the second day. He was finally taken off the respirator yesterday (Saturday) and is now breathing on his own with the help of O-2. He recieves breathing treatments every 3 hours. He is on IV steroids, anti-biotics, anti-inflamatory meds...etc. He may be moved out of ICU tomorrow. So....he is improving. He's not 'out of the woods' as yet...but he is stable at this time. They think what precipitated his severe attack was a bout with either bronchitis or pneumonia. He has had severe emphysema for about 10 years. So his lungs are very unhealthy. He may have to be on O-2 for the remainder of his life. I will not be online until he is recovered...if he recovers...and comes home. Please be patient with me as my concern for my love out-weighs everything else. I may not be able to answer messages for quite a while.
Thank you so much for your kind well-wishes, concern and patience in this very difficult time.

And shepherds we shall be,
For thee my Lord, for thee
Power hath descended forth from thy hand
That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command
So we shall flow a river forth unto thee,
And teeming with souls shall it ever be
